so i just officially resigned from the cadet program because i found i was more or less being used for the benefit of others. i applied for the glider course and was denied by the squadron because they believed an older person should go because they have less time to complete the flying program. it turns out that that person didn't even have the level qualification that was required to take the course. but i did. anyways the said they had a better use for me on the ground like being the drill sergeant, rifle coach, and squadron bugler, as well as a flight commander. in the end the cadet program's budget was cut by more than half meaning that we had to pay to go on trips. this ultimately screwed the program over causing mass panic and disorder. the cadets can no longer afford to get new uniform parts. in conclusion communication throughout the ranks crumbled and everything seemed to happen last minute. there were only three flight sergeants left at the time and we were all stretched to the braking point. now that i have left only two flight sergeants remain and one of them rarely shows up. also there are four warrant officer second class which means that there is no one person in control. this is most likely going to lead to even more communication problems leading the cadet program to its downfall. i believe from this point onward that the cadet program is due to die in the coming decades.

sincerely,
Nathan MacKinnon (aceofhawks)
