Disoriented listeners reveal "tremendous volume," "baffling distortion" and "speed compensating for dubious technical abilities." Good signs, indeed. The CYCLONES are slated to grind into full CD support gear this Spring. Come hear their tremendous volume, baffling distortion and speed compensating for dubious technical abilities for yourself. And do it before live music in New York is history.

The CYCLONES are featured in PUNK Magazine, and we want you to get a copy. So go here:

Our article is penned by outlaw moto-journalist Bruise Lee who explains, better than we ever could, why The CYCLONES are currently on hiatus. At this juncture, we must point out that our new record, "We're Livin' Like Weasels!," is available NOW, and we want you to buy it. And we'll be back playing live soonishly.

From John Holmstrom, editor of the infamous scandal sheet: "This issue of PUNK features stories on New York City punk rock bands The Bullys, The CYCLONES, Turbo AC's, Peelander-Z, and Two Man Advantage. There's also a story about the reasons behind the closing of CBGB and a bunch of rare photographs of the Ramones from 1976-1978. There are also some funny comic strips by Robert Romagnoli, Ken Avidor, Rick Trembles, Avi Spivak and John Holmstrom as well as Bruce Carleton's Punk Rock Family Tree. Then there are the usual favorites: Reviews, advertisements, and filler. Just in case you keep track, the last regular issue of PUNK was numbered #17, the new issue is numbered #19. We hope to publish PUNK #18 in the near future. We're also planning brand-new issues of PUNK, including a special issue on the history of CBGB."
