DESCRIPTION:
Very rarely seen this UK Prog Rock LP released on Deram (SML R 1084) in 1971 by `Stud` featuring ex Blossom Toes and ex Taste members, with those guys it should have been a sure fire big seller but sold so poorly that Deram didn’t take up the option of a second album. Here it is in all it`s glory Front laminated sleeve with white matt finish rear on the Red & White Deram label, a Near Mint Copy went for 360 British Pounds in 2011 so well worth looking out for this one, musically it sounds very American in style. Stud began in 1971 as a trio with Jim Cregan (ex Blossom Toes) Lead, Acoustic & Vocals, Richard McCracken (ex Taste) Bass & Acoustic and John Wilson (ex Taste) Drums later they added John Weider, signed by Deram the debut LP sold poorly and Deram declined a follow up. The band continued till 1972 signing to BASF in Germany, then Jim Cregan moved onto Bass and Joined Family in August 1972 and later Joined Cockney Rebel
