From campjinx.com: In a family of movie/music makers there are numerous occasions when those two worlds collide. On a recent trip to Providence I videotaped Brendan's band, The Biltmores, play at an off-campus bar. A few months later his band mates came to Chicago to record in a studio owned and operated by our good friend Mike Lust. This I also videotaped, concentrating on one song, Pigeonhole Blacktop, which you can hear in its entirety by downloading this file. Brendan, George Baxter, Dan Baxter and John Pitts make up The Biltmores and are good musicians, made even better by the presence of Ryan Hinshaw and Ben Wright who agreed to help them out in the studio. Ryan and Ben play with two popular Chicago groups -- Sexfist and the Outlaw Family Band. Watch Dan Baxter's face when Ryan takes his fiddle out of the case and plays the first few notes of a song he was hearing for the first time. It's a cool scene.
