THE BAWDIES

A 1,2,1,2,3,4….ROY (V&B), JIM (G) and MARCY (D) were originally classmates in grade school, TAXMAN (G) hooked up soon after in high school, the guys shared a common love of music leading to the formation of THE BAWDIES in January 2004.

Based on ROY’s rare voice as a foundation THE BAWDIES unique rhythm and blues meeting rock n’ roll sound pays homage to their many and varied musical influences producing a sound somewhere loosely in the same stratosphere that their heroes and legends Little Richard and Ray Charles were famous for.

THE BAWDIES live performance is guaranteed to excite any crowd… anywhere… anytime! Their infectious and unique, yet warmly retro-familiar sound dares you not to DANCE along with them. The ever increasing crowds hitting live houses throughout Japan is vivid testament to the infectious power of THE BAWDIES sound.

Get on the bus, don’t take your eyes off THE BAWDIES, they are coming to get you wherever you are!
