The 34th release on microCastle sees the long awaited re-issue of Grammy nominated producer Barry Jamieson's 'Stars'. The seminal track was originally recorded in 2002 shortly after Evolution disbanded and was subsequently released in 2004 under the alias of Invisible Inc. The track gained huge popularity when Sasha began opening many of his sets with the ambient version well over a year before the official release. The storied UK DJ also featured 'Stars' as the closing track on his famed 'New Emissions of Light and Sound' DVD soundtrack which saw Sasha, Barry and Charlie May win best original score at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in the Extreme Sports film category. It's irresistible and emotionally charged melodies made it one of the most sought after pieces of music at the time and was accompanied by several club interpretations for the official release. John Digweed was also a huge supporter of the record and featured the 'Unbroken' Mix in many of his live and radio sets. For the reissue we have included the original ambient and original club versions which have been previously unavailable along with brand new remixes from label artists Charlie May and Guy J.
