Hailing from the Washington D.C. area is "Kolai", one-half of the T-Kolai outfit (most known for their releases on Sohara, Ibadan, & Chilli Funk labels) featuring vocalist "Maria Rochelle" and Lyricist mc "Krayola" with Taha Elroubi overseeing the project. Producer Nicolas Laget is the brain child of "Take it Back" combining oldschool roots of Disco, House, HipHip, Soul, Jazz & Funk with the new times of soulful house music.. "Take It Back", is a flashback of the past giving tribute to the pioneers of soulful dance music , just the way it used to be back in day. Definitely a partytime vibe with a "Chic" appeal to it, this song is sure to please the oldschool as well as the new school.
