La radio crache du rock'n'roll et
des publicités pour l'avenir...
Plongés dans la candeur et l'enthousiasme des années 50,
Candy et Billy doivent faire face aux mensonges et
aux illusions de ce monde.

"Stuck in a Cruel World" est un roadtrip revigorant
dans l'adolescence de notre monde moderne,
aujourd'hui au bout du rouleau.

Fascinés par l'Amérique des années 50,
François Michel et David Couliau
se lancent en 2012 dans la réalisation de ce film musical,
adapté de l'album de Framix : "Stuck in a Cruel World".

Appuyés par une équipe admirable et avec des moyens réduits,
ils entreprennent de donner vie à un véritable petit monde,
lieu d'errance pour Candy et Billy,
jeunes amoureux à l'existence mystérieusement menacée...

released in 2012 and aired on FIP, Radio Nova, France Inter, Arte Live, Le Mouv', ...

Fascinated by 1950's America, François Michel and David Couliau
have embarked themselves in 2012 in the making of this musical film,
adapted from Framix's album: "Stuck in a Cruel World".

Supported by an amazing team and with a really low budget, they undertook the challenge of giving life to a real small world, a wandering space for Candy and Billy, young lovers with a mysteriously threatened existence.
