Autumn Leaves (with more than a nod to Ted Greene) by Mads Thorsen - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 30, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
Ted Greene was such a giant, and the funniest noodling guitar scientist this world ever saw. Getting through just one page of one of his books would keep me off the streets for weeks.

I saw him here on yt play this old warhorse standard. He starts out in Dm, but then switches to F#m..."that's a personal problem of mine, I can't stay in one key for a long time...I hope it's not a sad commentary to the other areas of my life...actually, we know the truth, I've lived in this body for 46 years, I know if it's true or not"...wow! what a dude!

As a tribute to this great cat I had to do my autumn leaves in both Dm and F#m, two choruses in each key, back and forth. And, of course, on a tele.
