Resident dj's at legendary Suburbahn parties (Ubu club@Rennes), Tarik'n'Djamel rank among the best dj's in the french drum'n'bass scene. Their unique and powerful back 2 back sets strengthened by excellent technical skills smash the dancefloors !!! They played in top clubs and events such as Transmusicales 2004, Astropolis 2005, Nördik Impakt 2006, Roc'Han Feu 2006, Electromind 2007, Art Sonic 2007, AstroChristmas 2007, Patchwork 2008, I Love Jungle LTD, Massive, Freshly Cut, Magazzini Generali @ Milan, Zoo/Usine @ Geneva, Trabendo, Cabaret Sauvage, Rex Club, Batofar and Glaz'art @ Paris, Roxtore @ Montpellier, DV1 @ Lyon, Olympic @ Nantes, Noumatrouff @ Mulhouse .

Well established as crowd rockers and open minded dj's, they have shared the bill with major artists including Adam F, Marky, Asian Dub Foundation, Storm, Hype, The Herbaliser, Ed Rush & Optical, Agoria, Mc Dynamite, Craze, Puppetmastaz, Toots & The Maytals, Soulwax .

Their contagious energy and their real stage-presence give their shows a special flavour. Each time they leave the crowd literally breathless ! Just listen to one of their sets and you'll know .

As producers, Tarik'n'Djamel have recently seen two of their tracks selected for far-reaching plans. "Wanted Punk" has been chosen for the european project of Sony, "Pure Urban", and is downloadable by the users of the video game "Wipe out pure" out on the new Playstation PSP player. As for "Surgery" (co-produced with Moy), it has been released on the mix cd "Metropologix" which features international drum'n'bass producers (Dope Ammo, Future Prophecies, Generation Dub .).

Longtime activists in the jungle/drum'n'bass scene (on the decks since more than 9 years), Tarik'n'Djamel joined in 2001 the Suburbahn collective founded by Dj Flow (Renegade Hardware). Suburbahn is also the name of the massive drum'n'bass nights at the Ubu Club (Rennes) which rank among the most renowned parties in France and which reputation has crossed the borders !

Since their beginning Tarik'n'Djamel have always been very keen to stress their quest of innovation and their multiple influences in their mix. In 2001, the incorporation of hip hop beats and vocals into their mix cd "Beats, Bass and Voices ." illustrates that. This one receives critical attention from the n°1 french electronic music magazine Trax : "Pure shapes, elegant curves, a nice mix with a perfect technic, that you can listen to either on a dancefloor or at home. This had become rare recently .". This objective to marry drum'n'bass and their musical and personal culture is once again present in 2004 in their association with the vj Miss~Chémar for the audio and video project "Visions Sonores", a real trip between kabylian and urban culture.

Going from strength to strength Tarik'n'Djamel have built a reputation of experienced musicians and have become in a few years some of the best talented artists in the french drum'n'bass field and are also booked out of the electronic sphere alongside established artists (Badmarsh & Shri, TTC, Joey Starr, Mickey 3D, les Wampas, Laurent de Wilde, Pleymo, Rodolphe Burger, Ridan, Big Red .).
