DESCRIPTION:
First encountered this on a cassette of songs with just the title ISLANDS. A friend of mine had dubbed it from a cassette another friend had given him. We thought it was a mix tape, and there was no track list. This tape stuck with me for years and years, getting frequent play, but I never could figure out who the artists were. Years ago, someone broke into my car and stole the tape.

Earlier this month I was staying in a hostel in Valladolid, Mexico, when I heard this song and a couple others from that long lost tape. Fortunately, the CD had a track list, and from that I finally discovered the artists, and the album from which all that great music had come: Putumayo Presents: Isands.
