(In Haiti, Tap-taps are heavily painted public buses. In this composition the bus is used as a metaphor - urging people to not be complacent and let opportunities pass them by, but to be active, to get moving and 'jump on the bus'!)


English Poetic Translation:

Hurry up, walk quickly!
Lift your feet up so you won't miss it,
Wake up, take advantage,
The Tap-Tap is warming up!

If your legs are short, get a head start;
The best time is now,
Don't say you didn't know,
Those who are wise are those who lead.

The Tap-Tap is leaving now,
