DESCRIPTION:
AOsmosis is a record label from Germany, founded around 2012 by Daniel Knef.

The label’s declared foundation is exploration in musical as well as tangible territories – the latter meaning the production of bespoke packaging for each release. AOsmosis tries to realize what is considered a worthy experience for those who grab a copy of one of its productions; powered by a fascination for “what accompanies the music.”

While musical categories are secondary – all in all openness is key – a current attraction towards ambient, drone and field recordings are undeniable – though, this mixtape says it best – featuring music from the next 6 AOsmosis releases – excluding the very-soon out-in-the-wild Ivanhoe Relics tape by Australian ambient artist Light Sleeper [AO№3].

Further influences are a fascination for typography, poetry and the spoken word, generative and self-destroying art.
