The vocoders are really expressive on this keyboard. I have used other vocoders, but this one is one of the most understandable and functional. It sits well in a musical context. It's less robotic and more human / expressive but with a unique sound.

One of most realistic human-tone vocoders ever produced. One of the best vocal processors ever produc

When this came out I said it's missing something but the next version would be better. Then I heard a few demos from Jordan Rudess and bought one second hand with 6 months waranty still on it. It is amazing. You can spend hours making stupid sounds into the mic which all sound incredible coming out of the speakers. Having heard the 777 I'm not too sure that there is a great deal of difference. Anyone who has wished a device that sings for them should take a serious look at this th

My favourite feature is the small rotary at the back which runs gain from line to mic level. If you plugin a line level signal you can massively overdrive it and produce incedible reasults apparently without unpleasant clipping. It's alogether a very special machine and one that does what is does so well because it only does what it do

It seems like just an emulation of the classic VP-330 Vocoder Plus.

AIR use it live! Can be seen on KCRW "Morning becomes eclec

This is the best on the market a

this kb is very expansive. as the aspect of backing chorus.....

This is not meant to be a versatile keyboard by any means...it is meant to do one thing only, but better than anything else...AND THIS IT DOES !! I am a terrible vocalist, but with this machine, I can really get amazing backround vocals that sound like real gospel or pop choirs, not like the "Mr. Robato" vocalizations of the past. I would never take it to a gig alone as a Swiss Army keyboard...that's what Motifs and Fantoms are for. But for the studio or stage, where top quality vocal harmonies or ensemble leads are needed (and even strings), this amazing keyboard shines like no other. Truly a benchmark keyboar

I have mixed opinions about this keyboard. As far as the vocoder part of it goes, it's great. the clarity of the words that you speak through it is very good compared to other vocoders (i.e. the microKORG). On the other hand, it is NOT at all a versatile keyboard. I wouldnt even call it a synth. If you are looking to buy just ONE keyboard for your studio, then this is not the one to get. However, if you are lookin for a vocoder with great choral and string sounds,

This is my favorite instrument! It is soo versatile and beautiful for choir and strings. It is very easy to play and with the variety of features and the simple interface, this keyboard gives loads of options for creating effects and filtering sounds.
