DESCRIPTION:
Hellllllll-acious.

The Boys is a fuckin'-decent punk rock n' roll group comin' outta Toronto, Ontario. This is the EP they dropped in November of last year, after puttin' out a couple split tapes with Lautaro and Mollot, along with thier March 2015 demo. That's pretty much all I know about 'em. Don't know about any other releases, who the members are, how long they've been active, none of that. All I know is that they're absolutely fucking wild.

I've been hesitant to uploading this in the past. Not that I don't dig this or anything, no way. This shit is groovy as hell and'll sate my innermost spastic urges any day of the week. The problem is, this isn't the full release. Apparently, there's two tracks that are exclusive to the physical copy of the tape. I've looked if some online storefront would have a copy for sale, but I've yet to come across it and have pretty much given up on getting my hands on this cassette, so, fuck it, here's what we've got. The six tracks we do have, however, are some of the finest incessant examples of punk rock n' roll that I've come across. Lo-fi intoxicating rhythms that electrify the senses and make you wanna sporadically writhe like a ringworm, vocals like a hyena and jams like a rock record set at the wrong RPM. And damn, is "The Big Pickup" an underground hit. There's not much to dislike with this killer release. Well, maybe except for the fact that we don't got the whole thing. But hey, if your group's problem is that there isn't enough of your work out there yet, then I'd say you're a pretty fucking good group. Get what you can, and who knows, if I ever actually manage to find the tape, I'll definitely rip it and set up a download for all the innernette punk turds out there.

UPDATE 2/24/16: Ta-da! Someone delivered, and that someone is Larissa H. She sent me every single release from The Boys, along with a Triage and Hussy tape, AND a New Berlin and C.C.T.V. shirt, for free! She's the greatest.
