Tall Poppies -- All Points in Between

Tall Poppies were an alternative pop band from Halifax, NS. Founded in 1991 by friends Paul Kimball and Glenn MacCulloch, there were two incarnations of the line-up. The first, from 1991 to 1993, featured Michael Riley on bass, Adam Rumsey on guitar, and Mark Savoury as the lead vocalist. The second, from 1993 to 1994, saw Mike Trainor replace Savoury on lead vocals. Subsequent demo recordings in featured David Croft and Mark Winkelman (with whom Kimball played in Julia's Rain from 1996 until 1998) and Dale Murray (with whom Savoury played in Booming Airplanes after his departure from Tall Poppies).

These songs are drawn from live recordings, two independent e.p.'s that the band released during its run, and later demo recordings.
