Taline

Born and raised in New York, Talines musical journey began in 1999, in the midst of chaos. After first being inspired by Propellerheads Rebirth software, Taline acquired her first piece of audio hardware, the Yamaha RM1X. This would spark future relationships with hardware.

Taline graduated from SAE Institute of Technology in Manhattan where she earned a diploma in Audio Engineering & Production, gaining the technological skills to bring her internal music to fruition.

Taline has worked at various recording studios in NYC and Long Island, gaining more knowledge and thus improving her skills. She has performed at NYCs CBGBs Gallery, Elbow Room, the Lions Den, Pussy Cat Lounge, Nuyorican Poets Café, Bartini's and Long Island's Funky Phish. In 2004, Taline was one of two females ever to enter and win the International Producers Association Beat Battle; and the only female ever to perform in the IPA Grand Championship Battle. She has also composed three original electronic music compilation albums, and is working on a fourth for Auracle Music/Zero Point Productions, which is used as background music for various National and International Television shows.

Talines music is 100% original, with the exception of occasional vinyl samples. Every beat, every melody, and all vocals are composed, performed, recorded and mixed from scratch without the use of pre-sequenced samples or rhythm loops. This music is a rare and unmistakable hybrid of music that will find its way into your head and unquestionably take you places.
