DESCRIPTION:
Denná Good-Mojab, 19, performs an excerpt from "Tahmineh's Aria" from the award-winning, Armenian-Iranian composer and conductor Loris Tjeknavorian’s opera, “Rostam and Sohrab.” The opera is based on the epic poem, “Shahnameh” (“The Book of Kings”), written c. 977-1010 CE by the Persian poet Ferdowsi.

This performance was recorded at the 2016 Foundation for International Understanding through Students (FIUTS) CulturalFest Performance Showcase on February 20, 2016 at Meany Hall, University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, United States.
