Syreeta Wright is one of the most original vocalists to emerge from the Motown era. Why she was so shamefully underrated and unrecognised during her lifetime is a mystery. There is very little live footage of Syreeta, who passed away at age 58 in 2004, available anywhere. I would have thought that there was so much more live video of her on marvelous and wondrous youtube where I have been able to view the rarest of videos by other artists. However, unfortunately there is no live video of Syreeta to speak of on youtube. That is why this clip of her performing "Your Kiss Is Sweet" live in London around 1989 will be of great interest to her fans.
