This piece was performed live at the Cornelia Street Cafe on October 27, 2008 in the second act of the "Shadow Land" composition with Rachelle Garniez.

Composer, story-teller, curator, and real-life circus performer, Sxip Shirey has toured opening for the Dresden Dolls, peformed at TED in Monterey California, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, the Rothbury music festival and at Bonnoroo with the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus.

With the pyro-technic clowns of the Daredevil Opera Company, Shirey has performed at The Kennedy Center, The Sydney Opera House, and the New Victory Theater on Broadway. He's played appalachian music for gypsies in Romania and worked on sound compositions with Navajo children in Arizona.
