Swim Swim formed in a living room back in 2002. It expanded and shrunk, accrued new members and revisted old ones. They evolved and strengthened their bonds. Eventually, it was time to say goodbye.

Swim Swim's future is unknown, but there is still a future. All we can focus on is the present:

Jeremy Aulden resides in Austin, TX and is working on multiple projects (ex.

Lilac Inferno). He is constantly looking for new musicians with whom to write and record music.

Michael Brady is currently freezing in Boston where he studies Music Industry at Northeastern University.

Jason Bailey is in New Orleans studying Music Industry at Loyola University.

Ben Roche is surfing everyday while attending A&M Corpus Christi.

Press

"Early in 2007, a group of young men out of Plano formed a band called Swim Swim and released I'm So Glad That I'm an Island, a wonderful, but grossly neglected collection of indie pop that should have made local heroes out of Jeremy Aulden, Mike Brady and Jason Bailey [.]

Instead, this disregard for Swim Swim resulted in Aulden heading to college in San Antonio, Brady moving to Boston and Bailey taking up residence in New Orleans. [Aulden] hightailed it back home, took a regular 9-to-5 job and started dreaming of making local music again. [.]

It's good to have a talented guy like Aulden back in our area. Let's just hope enough folks pay attention this time so he doesn't go away again." - Darryl Smyers,

The Dallas Observer

"[SwimSwim] now employs a variety of sound and effects: keys, synthesizer, trumpet, dueling guitars and atmospheric vocals. Brady's shimmering guitar work provides the calm amidst the majestic storm, while Bailey's bass pulses with conviction. Roche provides melodic poise behind the drums, and Aulden's vocals emit just the sort of ache and sincerity that the accompanying music warrants." - Rene Villareal, The Roundup
