Review of the single "Black Glove in Time Machine from Greece:

Loveland is the personal vehicle of Lana Loveland. And what a vehicle this is!
A well tuned, fuzzy hot rod! Lana has been the Fuzztones organist for 6 years, and also was the organ player in 2004's Bonniwell Music Machine Turn On Europe tour! This 7" is Loveland's debut release that also works as a precursor of a full album expected february 2011. If you know the story of Sean Bonniwell and the one-hand black glove, then you'll understand what A side is all about. The sound on Black Glove is dominated by Lana's vox organ with the substantial and accompanying work of Lenny Svilar on guitar, the man Rudi Protrudi on bass and Alex Tenas on drums. On B side there is a wonderful and inspirational "Missing Illusions," a psych garage anthem divided in 3 parts, starting as a typical west coast hippie female song, continuing as a dub druggy hallucinogenic tune and ending with an influenced guitar solo, reminding of great bands that go by the name The Strawberry Alarmclock, Seeds, Music Machine and Doors. Lana, why did it take you so long? I want the album now! Teach me, Tiger!
