A Tribute To 9-11

WE'LL REMEMBER
This song was originally written as a tribute with lyrics expressing the American heart as every American witnessed the devastation on 9-11 at our front door. It follows our soldiers into battle to help us all see what we need to remember. It is in the quiet times, after the battles, when the world is not under siege, when we've lost those who fought in the darkness of war and when the emptiness settles in, "We'll Remember".
We honor those who wear their metals on their chests, no matter what uniform they wear; from Ground O to Baghdad they taught us the meaning of a hero. We then need to take the time to reflect in a song. A song brings the spirit of our souls together to show how powerful and emotional the words can be. We can not forget what these people have done for us. This song speaks in words to share with the world that we care, and we love and hold what is precious to us. Americans can stand together as One Nation.
"You made us believe something sacred could be found in the midst of great destruction all around". Yes, they made us believe that even through the hell that war brings to human kind; these are the people who give their lives and heart of strength to uphold our peace for America's tomorrow. "They bring comfort to our souls" just knowing, they are there. Take time to remember ! Take time to listen ! Take time to see through your hearts who it is that protects you day and night, during the worst of times and the best. From the Police Officer, to the Firefighter, to the Soldier, and to the ones who gave their lives for us and the ones who are still with us today, "We'll Remember", a lesson were not likely to forget.

Suzanne Gorman is an up-and-coming pop/country artist with a talent for songwriting. Her first nationally-distributed album "Open Book" was released on September 19, 2006 by Range Records. In 1998, Suzanne was invited to Nashville by her friend, Nancy Peacock, who is a songwriter and publisher. Nancy's songs have been performed both nationally and oversea including most recently by European female country artist of the year, Lucie Diamond. Nancy welcomed Suzanne on her first visit to record in a studio, on Nashville's famous Music Row.
Three months later she returned to begin recording several of her own arrangements and received early recognition for her artistry within the Nashville music community. Suzanne soon met and started to write and publish music with her co-writers, Nancy Peacock, Amy Holt, Jo Linder Andi Zack, Kim Barker and Lisa Palas, whose songs have been performed and recorded by major pop and country artists such as Reba McEntire and Alabama. In live performance, Suzanne has opened for James Taylor in his Palm Springs concert and has performed in venues in Nashville and throughout the USA. Suzanne has also received an impressive amount of recognition in and around the Philadelphia area.
On this impressive debut, she makes it clear that a broad background, a history of battling down challenges, and a commitment to sharing her gift with the world can only enhance a talent that's already unique. "Open Book" was recorded at Reba McEntire's Starstruck Studios in Nashville, TN and mixed at Range Recording Studios in Ardmore, PA. The CD is now available at WWW.SUZANNEGORMAN.COM and at various retail outlets nationwide!
"When I share my music, I always feel like I'm at the right place at the right time," she sums up. "I love people and I want to give back in equal measure what I have received."

Suzanne Gorman has a very nice, relaxing, and smooth delivery. Her "Open Book" CD is full of wonderful self penned songs. The production leans more towards AC than country, however there are a number of cuts that would fit on country radio.
