Hello, my name is Suzanne I write about the world around me and the world inside my head; growing up, falling in/out of love, dreams, discovery, sea creatures, fizzy drinks, evolution and pirates. Most songs are born as poems that I later mould to fit the shape of a song. I love to share my thoughts. I am not fond of things that are boring or cleche. I like to paint pictures with words and then decorate them with music. This makes me HAPPY. I hope it makes you HAPPY too.

In the past two years Suzanne has had the pleasure of supporting: Newton Faulkner, Lauren Pritchard, I Am Kloot, The Young Republic, Boo Hewerdine, Fanfarlo, First Aid Kit, Hush The Many, Euros Childs, Alessi's Ark, The Leisure Society, Kathryn Williams, Mark Morriss, Chris Helme, Henry Priestman, Andy White and Jake Shillingford to name but a few.

QUOTES
"Suzanne Elizabeth Marron is another kettle of fish - and what a kettle! - what fish! Lovely slippy - occasionally barbequed - quick, clever lyrics, sang with a beautiful, rich Middlesbrough-accented voice like you've never heard"
The Waiting Room - Eaglescliffe

"A fantastic singer and an outstanding musician and strikingly original songwriter."
Rob Nicholls - Evening Gazette

"I've spent the last week with the eponymous EP on repeat. It's a brilliant piece of work with zig-zagging harmonies and thought bending, often wistful lyrics.
The songs she writes are like going on a journey and I say that entirely aware of how pompous it sounds. Accompanied by either an acoustic guitar or piano the songs go through all manner of emotions, melancholy, anger, joy, humour, indifference and hundreds of others.
The whole thing is a masterful piece of work and I have to say one of the great things about it is when Suzanne delivers a line in an obscenely brilliant Teesside accent, entirely unintended though it may be."
Andrew Pain - Gazzette Livewire

"There are times when you just know that you're in the presence of a genuine talent. Times when your skin prickles, your mouth drops open involuntarily, the eyes widen and time grinds to a halt. Whatever I say simply cannot do this CD, or indeed the towering talent that is Suzanne Elizabeth Marron, justice. Suffice to say that comparisons to the genius that is Kate Bush are more than valid. This is an absolutely stunning 3-Track CD and highlights what a genuine gift she has. "
JayTaE - North East Live
