Elliot Scheiner teamed up with Joe Jackson to record his latest work, "The Duke" at Avatar Studios in New York. Joining Elliot and Joe in the studio were, Iggy Pop, Sharon Jones, Iranian singer Sussan Deyhim, Lilian Vieira (from the Brazilian/Dutch collective Zuco 103), violinist Regina Carter, bassist Christian McBride, Steve Vai, drummer Ahmir '?uestlove' Thompson (The Roots) and Jackson band members Vinnie Zummo (guitar) and Sue Hadjopoulos (percussion)
