In the early days of Suckerstar, the band featured Wendy Gadzuk and Punky Romig on guitars, Blaire Chodor (aka Blare N. Bitch of Betty Blowtorch fame) on bass, and Lanie Fire on drums. Later, the band also acquired another former Bettly Blowtorch member, Sharon Needles. At this point, the band briefly performed as a 3 guitar band called "Schmuckerstar".

Wendy Gadzuk left the band to follow her dreams to the Bay area and the band continued on as "Psychostar". In Psychostar, Sharon and Punky played guitar and Blaire played bass.

The photos in this slideshow span all the years that the band was active, including the Suckerstar, Schmuckerstar and Psychostar eras.

As for the audio recording, you are hearing the original lineup of Suckerstar (Romig, Gadzuk, Chodor, Fire). The drum and guitar tracks were recorded live at Cole Studios in Hollywood, CA in early December of 2007. Erik Colvin engineered and co-produced the recording along with the other members of the band. The edits, percussion and vocal tracks were recorded in a home made sound booth constructed in the middle of Erik's Hollywood apartment in the infamous Yucca Corridor area.

The mix as heard in this recording completed on 11/17/2007.

A handful of other songs were also recorded during these sessions, including "Black Champagne" and the Betty Blowtorch song "Hell on Wheels", which was intended to be released on a Betty Blowtorch tribute release, which never came out. Suckerstar had intended on adding more songs and using them on the band's first official release. ....Unfortunately the project was never completed.
