Steel Threads recorded a first album entitled 'Timing is Everything', and released this through Rocksector Records on the 4th June 2012. Since then the band has gigged through the UK, building a following, and developing their live show.

In this time, Steel Threads have supported or worked with 'The South' (former The Beautiful South), 'Deborah Bonham and Band', Hugh Cornwell' (founder member of The Stranglers), 'Paul Gilbert' (Mr Big), 'New Model Army' and more.
