"Turing's Farewell" - Fiver & Stripmall Ballads live @ The Holy Oak - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 11, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
A song by Fiver about Alan Turing's last thoughts before committing suicide by cyanide. Turing was a code-breaking genius who played a major role in paralyzing the German fleet during WWII. After the war, he was hounded to death for being gay. His "Turing Test" still has currency today in the field of artificial intelligence - in short, if you can't tell whether you're dealing with a computer or a person, the computer passes the test.
