Welcome to Strictly Science Recordings. As you all know, the owner is Michael A. Decker a.k.a. Mike D. a.k.a. D-Boy. He was born in tha small city of Evansville, Indiana, but raised in tha country town of Spottsville(Henderson)Kentucky. He started with music at the age of 13 through a pair of small headphones, and a karaoke machine. A lot of his country friends disowned him growing up because D-Boy was nothing like them. He never wanted to be black. He was happy with who he was, he just felt a rhythm moving through his bones. He was always judged by his parents as the outcast of the three boyz. He got into a lot of trouble, and was frequently harrassed by police. His first studio partner that reached out to him was Edaghogho a.k.a. Toast. He worked through HotSauce, Wink Dad, and Mystic Minds, moving from studio to studio. At the age of 18, he mercked outta his parents house in path of his own personal journeyand thats exactly what he ran intoa journey. Never really knowing what responsiblity was, he jumped into life carelessly, with no goals and aspirations other than his music. Well, reality soon smacked him in his face. He ran into money, drug, relationship, and trust problems. He lost his car, his house, his pitbulls, his girlfriend of a couple years, and on top of that, he was losing friends, but never lost focus on his music. A good friend looked after D-Boy for a while(Chris Clayton) until he got back onto his feet. Mike got a job, forgot the bad drugs.and started over on Lieber Street, after going through an apartment and two houses. He saved money and got a vehicle, then started hitting the studio again with rap buddies-Carter, and Wheeler. Yes, he did do work with James Montgomery and Damien Butler.but ended up stabbing D-Boy in his back. Well, through all the trials and tribulations, D-Boy is back and stronger than ever. He is working along side of Max B, Will P, Carter, Pounders, C-Good, Boop D, Scooter, Raaqim, Kasper, and many more local artists. He is now on the right path, with 106.1 hosting shows, and more and more fans grasping onto his music. He is looking to hit tha radio airplays real soon, and starting opening for bigger and better shows, now that the town knows what he is capable of. He has been featured on Jon young and J. Cashs albums, and a Dj Khaled mixtape. Just for a future note, Strictly Science was created by the Decker Brothers, starting with Rick Decker, and then it moved to Mike. James is the youngest brother but has always stood by the other brothers. Three brothers that have unconditional love for each other, and it wont ever be broken. STRICTLY SCIENCE RECORDINGS BABY!! The world IS ready, cause they want more and more of DBOY!!!!! The World Aint Ready for the junk others are putting out!!!! Strictly Science is a place for REAL lyricists and people with real stories, FROM THA CITY TO THA COUNTRY!!!!
