Help with the Long A Chord - Working Around a Tough Stretch
================================================

In this lesson, we'll talk about 2 ways to workaround the Long A Chord. Sure, the long A chord is super important and one that I really recommend you get down. But what if you physically can't play this chord?

There's a pretty tough stretch required to play this chord and if you absolutely can't play the chord properly, here are two alternatives.

1. Play the chord using the barre chord form around the 5th and 7th frets.

2. Play the A major triad on the 4th, 3rd and 2nd strings with the open 5th string as your bass.

Keep in mind that there are always workarounds on the guitar because there are multiple locations for every note. So while, this workaround may help, this lesson is designed to get you thinking about ways to overcome physical limitations on the guitar and still nail the correct notes.

Good luck!
