JETHRO TULL: (DUN RINGILL) 9-14-1979. FROM ALBUM STORMWATCH: - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jul 10, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
"DUN RINGILL" is a song from Jethro Tull's twelfth studio album "STORMWATCH" released on September 14th, 1979. It is considered the last in the trilogy of folk-rock-albums by Jethro Tull (although folk music influenced virtually every Tull album).

"DUN RINGILL" is the historic site of an Iron Age fort on the Isle of Skye, which served as the original seat of the Clan MacKinnon. Tull's Ian Anderson once owned and lived in a nearby Kilmarie house, until he sold the estate in 1994. (Dun Ringill - the song is taken from the Dun Ringill Isle of Skye Historic site).
