DESCRIPTION:
This exercise is designed to help you learn your fingerboard by playing a scale, both ascending and descending, and changing the fingering -- even if only by one note -- each time you climb and then return to the beginning.

The bass in this video is a Conklin 10 string Sidewinder with an alder body, purpleheart/yellowheart bolt-on 34" scale neck, yellowheart fretboard, purpleheart top, purpleheart headstock cap and custom Nordstrand Big Single pickups (under yellowheart covers) wired straight to the output jack.
