What an amazing camp we had at Pecusa on the Lahaina side of Maui...so many old friends...especially the dear friends who played so well that evening...

Daniel Paul has has performed in Europe and the U.S. with indian flutist G.S. Satchdev, and in acoustic sets with Hawaii's ambassador of music Henry Kapono, opening for Bob Dylan at the Wakiki Bandshell and recording for Hawaii's legendary duo Cecilio & Kapono. He has directed his own drum orchestra, The Mad Dog Drummers of Mu and accompanied or recorded for many of today's leading kirtan, new age and classical Indian artists including Snatam Kaur, Krishna Das, The Guru Ganesha Band, CC White, Dave Stringer, Krishna Das, Donna DeLory, Jaya Lakshmi, Indian sarodists Ross Kent and K. Sridhar, and bansuri flutists Manose and Steve Gorn.

For over a decade Daniel has been the principle tabla accompanist to Grammy nominee Jai Uttal and in 2012 he began to teach and tour with Seattle'si global vocalist Gina Salá,
Daniel currently divides his time between teaching on the island of Maui, where he has lived for decades, and touring throughout the world with many of today's most sought after kirtan leaders. His numerous recording appearances include Jai Uttal's "Kirtan! The Art and Practice of Ecstatic Chant" as well as on his earlier Pagan Love Orchestra CD's; "Footprints", and "Monkey". He has also produced and appears on a new 10 hour series of downloadable recordings "Jai Uttal Live -The First Edition".

And Daniel can also be heard on four of his own releases, "Rhythms of Paradise" and "Between Two Worlds" on the Soundings of the Planet label , and the self-produced "Elephant Prayers - A Kirtan Vocal Ensemble" , and his new release as of November of 2012, TABLA MANTRA - "Songs of love and rhythmic rapture - "

Steve Gorn (born in New York City) is a master bamboo flautist and saxophone player.

Gorn has performed Indian classical music, jazz and new American music on the bansuri bamboo flute and soprano saxophone in concerts and festivals throughout the world. A disciple of the late bansuri master, Sri Gour Goswami of Calcutta, he has been praised by critics and leading Indian musicians as one of the few westerners recognized to have captured the subtlety and beauty of Indian music. He also has composed numerous works for theatre, dance and television and has recorded and performed with a wide range of artists including Paul Simon, Tony Levin, Jack DeJohnette, Glen Velez, Karl Berger, Alessandra Belloni, Layne Redmond, Simon Shaheen and Mick Karn.
