Jamie Calderon - Founder/CEO



Born in Brooklyn, New York he was influenced at an early age by the music of Diana Ross, The Temptations, Run-Dmc, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-1, Wu-Tan Clan, B.I.G, 2Pac and Latin artists Tito Puente and Celia Cruz. As a young teenager he started organizing local parties in Brooklyn and Queens. By 1992, he joined a promotional team for a respected hip-hop club call "Home Bass". One year later he joined John "Gungie" Rivera of Prestige Productions and promoted the legendary hip-hop "Fever" night club. At the age of 18, he organized an event at "The Ukrainian Center" that included future CEO's Damon Dash of Roc-a-fella Records and Drew Friedman of Duck Down Records with a live show featuring "Original Flavor" and "Smiff-n-Wessun". Other club venues included Arena, Palm Tree, Velvet, 20 West, and Vertigo.



In 1997, he started working for the six largest Advertising company in the world called Grey Advertising. Starting at the bottom, working in the mailroom he quickly move up and got a position working for the CEO/President of Grey Advertising. One year later he was promoted to the printing production department working with top art designers. In 1999-2001 he returned to the the New York club scene and teamed up with NuLife Entertainment and co-promoted for "Babalu" night club.



In 2002, he became a student at the Institute of Audio Research, to study the methods and equipment aspects of recording engineering in the music industry. While in school he also began an internship at JIVE Records working for the President of Zomba/Jive Recording Corporation and also worked in the RAP Promotions Department. After finishing school at IAR, he attended Queens College and took courses in Business, Marketing & Sales. Shortly after he and long time friend Dennis Cotto started their own company called Stand Klear Entertainment providing services in Promotion, Production and Printing. The two of them teamed up with Amparo Sanchez, a Business & Marketing Manager and have form an alliance with upcoming producers and DJs to develop new artists in the music entertainment industry.



Dennis Cotto - Co-Founder and President



Born March 10, 1976, Dennis Cotto was destined to be involved in the music business. Raised in Bushwick, Brooklyn by his Mother Carmen Cotto, he grew up listening to music from the Fania era of Salsa and the Motown era of R&B. His father Felix Perez, was a salsa musician who sang and played various percussion instruments for the Brooklyn based band Las Palomas. His older brother and sister, Wilbur and Rachel introduced him to Hip Hop when he was about 5 years old, ever since then Dennis has had an extreme love for it. In the early 90s when he was 16 years old, he join his long time friend Jaime Calderon to promote some of the hottest Hip Hop clubs in NYC. In the mid 90s, he teamed up to co-manage and play the role of hype man for the group Real Lyphe. Finally in the year 2003, he rejoined his best friend Jaime Calderon to form the company Stand Klear Entertainment. His only goal is to help turn Stand Klear Entertainment into a successful record label.
