Stalag 13 is a punk-hardcore straight edge formed in mid-1980 in Oxnard, California. Along with Dr. Know, RKL, Agression and Ill Repute , the group is part of the scene Nardcore (contraction Oxnard and hardcore). In 1983, Stalag 13 recorded their first demo entitled simply Stalag 13 followed the next year's 9 titles "In Control" on the label Upstart Records. Group performs various concerts with Circle Jerks, Vandals and Social Distortion and also participates in compiling local Nardcore. Stalag 13 separated shortly after. In 1996 during a reunion concert of Stalag 13 on the U.S. West Coast, former members decided to record album which will be called "Conviction."
