Judaism is a gift. Jewish music is a treasure. One of the ways I express my love and pride for being a Jew is through my original Jewish compositions. I hope that the 12 compositions on my album (the name of which has yet to be determined) are able to inspire and enliven every type of Jew (and non-Jew).

Learning and teaching the Hebrew language are actions I am passionate about. I make sure to retain Hebrew throughout the album, enveloped with English here and there, as it is important to know what one is singing, praying, or hearing.

A constant concern in contemporary synagogues is keeping the interest of its congregants. It is hard to please everyone; however, with the right ingredients (a nice variety of music), it is more likely for almost everyone to be satisfied and refreshed after a Shabbat service. This concept of relevance and engaging the community is not limited to the synagogue; I believe that if my music triggers feelings of gratefulness and warmth, the location in which it is played will be a less important factor. Music fills the atmosphere, and if people are open to hearing new tunes, my melodies will increase the quality of every person's experience.

Please be my partners in funding the last $5,000 of my album's cost (last stages of recording, mixing the songs, and printing/packaging CD). The donations will also go towards my album release concert once the CD is released.
