Writer / emcee Texture helped set up Black Lantern Music in 2009, and is the curator of the site. He makes loop-based hip-hop, with dubstep, electro, and lo-fi rock influences. Texture's music has been supported by Vic Galloway and Mary-Ann Hobbes (Radio 1), The Skinny and Clash Magazine.

In 2008 Texture recorded 'Future Proof' with Morphamish, under the name Double Helix. The album was a futuristic, science fiction-inspired blend of hip-hop, dubstep and breakbeat. Texture is a member of the Chemical Poets, and the editor of Weaponizer - a website showcasing groundbreaking new fiction and non-fiction writing.
