Song Notes: By the Montana pianist Philip Aaberg, from his 1985 solo piano recording HIGH PLAINS. I have also recorded two other of Phil's pieces from his 1987 album OUT OF THE FRAME: Nevertheless Hello, on my album MONTANA-A LOVE STORY, and Before Barbed Wire, on my album PLAINS.

Phil's other Montana theme recordings, UPRIGHT, LIVE FROM MONTANA, FIELD NOTES, and his solo piano album of movie themes, CINEMA, and all of his wonderful music, have also been very inspirational to me. Phil's music beautifully captures the essence of Montana, and it has been a great experience to be driving in Montana, listening to his music and going to the places that inspired him to compose the pieces.
