Spleenveil are the expression of emotions and thoughts that between art and music are substained by the total indipendence and passion for an ideology unaware of borders. Electronics and experimentation dance together with energy and observation towards the research of every kind of freedom. In 2007 they started to experience and completely revisit their sounds; in the same year they realized "Glycerine" EP and their first album "Poltergeist" that was supported by many fans and obtained positive feedback from the most important newspaper headlines like for example the Italian "La Repubblica". Spreading almost 2000 copies of their albums among European and American underground ambient, Spleenveil succeeded in drawing the attention of many exponents of their musical genre (and also of other genres) such as Massive Attack, Tricky, Portishead, Lamb, Air, Placebo, Almamegretta and many others. They are the originators and executive creators of their videoclips, that they realize thanks to their passion for videoart. Spleenveil revealed two of their music videos among different European TV stations and their videoclip of "Secret of angels" was also shown in art galleries of New York and Los Angeles. At the same time they realized music and songs for photographic exhibitions and European dramatic movies and they cooperated with many American and European dj. They have always supported with particular attention the contemporary artists, like Francesco Arena with whom they collaborated. Moreover they have always committed themselves in supporting demonstrations and events for the respect of human rights. In 2010 their new album "Colours of her" will be out! It was produced, recorded and mixed by Andrea Ponzano, member of another Italian trip-hop band, Meccaniche Invisibili, with whom Spleenveil realized together the song "Fuori dal perimetro". "Colours of her" marks the artistic passage in which, with Andrea Ponzano, they realize for Taboo Records, a more mature and experimental work that had taken the band up for more than a year at the Taboo Studio and that in 2010 will be on sale. Coming in contact with their concerts and festivals' public, Roberta and Al build their dimension in continuous evolution between visual art and electronic music.

Allo stesso tempo realizzano musiche per mostre fotografiche e film drammatici europei, collaborano con diversi dj europei e americani, supportano con particolare attenzione l'arte contemporanea,Francesco Arena tra i primi artisti con cui collaborano, partecipando inoltre a sostegno dei diritti umani. Nel 2010 sarà in uscita il loro nuovo disco "Colours of Her", prodotto,registrato e mixato da Andrea Ponzano, componente di un'altra realtà del settore trip-hop con Meccaniche Invisibili, con cui il duo elettronico ha inoltre collaborato nel nuovo brano "Fuori dal Perimetro". "Colours of Her" segna il passaggio artistico in cui, affiancati da Andrea Ponzano, realizzano per la Taboo Records, un lavoro più maturo e sperimentale che ha impegnato il duo per più di un anno al Taboo Studio e che sarà prossimo in vendita. Così, venendo a contatto con il pubblico dei loro concerti e festival per lo stivale, Roberta e Al costruiscono la propria dimensione in continua evoluzione tra arte visuale e musica elettronica.
