COSTANZA

Born in Rome and currently living in New York City, Costanza is a musician, singer, producer and visual artist who aims to combine visionary aesthetics with social awareness and DIY philosophy. Acclaimed by the press as “mesmerizing & edgy” her music is a dreamlike journey into sensual and hypnotic electronica. Among her works, she collaborated with trip-hop guru Tricky (who referred to her as "the female version of me"). In 2006 she released her first self-produced EP and moved to NYC where she founded Zerokilled Music (label, music production & recording studio). Her debut album Sonic Diary came out in 2008 and since then she's been working in her studio creating music for films & visual arts. Her work has been featured in acclaimed cult TV series such as CSI and The L Word. She's collaborating with cutting edge artists both from the Berlin cutting edge electronic scene (including Dub-techno master Deadbeat) then the avant-garde NYC underground.
She 's currently working on several projects including: Brooklynites No Surrender (with upcoming album Medicine Babies); an electronic duo with Marco Messina (called B_Co.Me); a nocturnal experimental album with avant-garde artist Kevin Hufnagel (Night Sessions) Her next solo album People Who love Dangerous Creatures is expected to come out on ZerOKilled late 2011.
