Roarin' 20s: Harry Raderman's Dance Orch. - Hallelujah!, 1927 - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 10, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Harry Raderman's Dance Orchestra, New York -- Hallelujah, Charleston with the Vocal Chorus (Robin, Grey, Youmans) Odeon 1927 (Recorded in New York, Spanish pressing)

NOTE: On the label is written "charleston", but probably it's so for the commercial reasons, because it is a classic foxtrot. Unfortunately, in the crazy Twenties disc labels were not very carefully edited. Harry Raderman (1883- 1939) was an American dance-band leader and trombonist known for his ability to make his trombone "laugh". He was recorded as a member of various bands from 1917 throughout the 1920's including Earl Fuller's Famous Jazz Band and Ted Lewis and his Band. He also led Harry Raderman's Jazz Orchestra, Raderman's Novelty Orchestra, Harry Raderman's Orchestra, the Plantation Dance Orchestra, Raderman's Roysteres, and the Red Hotters.
