Artist Biography: Filthy Jill and the Muscles, while relatively new, are rising fast. Their songs take from the best of rock, hard rock, punk and pop punk creating crossover appeal from all of these genres. Songs like "Fray" is a pounding rhythmic groove that sets the stage for an ominous tension laden to be more aggressive and it's release at the choruses. Bridging parts level out at a slightly higher pace followed by a foreboding solo. airy backups and lead vocals lead the song to its conclusion. "Black Out Girl" transitions from clean, calming verses to explosive and melodic driven choruses. Their song "Bitch" with it's Blues / Rock influenced riffs share hooks and harmonies that can not be denied. Other songs like "South City" are like a hard driving muscle car from start to finish.
