This alarm clock is for folks who want to wake up in a gentle and peaceful way from their sleep, as though you were in a peaceful monastery. Unlike the startling and loud alarm clocks most of us are used to, this alarm clock will gently wake you up with the sound of a distant bell over the next 20 minutes. The recording was done from a few hundred feet away at first, but then gets closer to the monastic who was using the bell and chanting a Buddhist chant.

This method of waking up is more conducive to setting your intentions for your day ahead. For example, as soon as you start to wake up, you can recite your intentions for the day.
