Bio:
The Vampire Bats combine elements of Post Punk Goth, Garage Punk with Modern Indie Pop Sensibilities to create unique and reinvigorated Rock N' Roll. They are Lyrically smart and unafraid of having an opinion, and often one step ahead in the fashion stakes! The Cemetery EP was co produced by S.J. Sigerson known for MYNX's "I'm So L.A.". Before the Vampire Bats, Lead singer/songwriter Marc Godfrey was best known for the success of his band Soul Kid #1 whose debut album, "Americanized" has managed to sell close to 200 000 in downloads independently! It is considered a pop modernist California classic due to the popularity of the teen pop cruising party anthem "More Bounce In California" which was featured on MTV's "Laguna Beach", "The O.C". "Legally Blonde 2", "Win A Date With Tad Hamilton", and most recently on "SNL" for a sketch called Woodbridge High Slow Motion Hallway. The song has become so iconic, it made number 2 on this buzzfeed list of the best songs about California...
