DESCRIPTION:
Well guys, I just couldn't leave this project alone. Surprised by the overwhelming positive response my last Sonic 3 & Knuckles project had, I figured I'd do what I saw requested many times in the comments, and complete Sonic 1 and 2's soundtrack. Originally, this project was only going to be Sonic 2, however it wound up feeling a little short (31 songs), so while working on it I also started work on Sonic 1, and I think it turned out pretty nicely (50 songs).

Overall, this project took less time than S3K, only about 125 hours over the course of a month, but I feel it was definitely worth it. Let me know what you guys think in the comments and by downloading and sharing the album if you like it. If you own a Powerpak or reprogrammable cartridge with the added VRC6 expansion chip, you can also play this project on your NES or Famicom by downloading the NSF files below.

(Yes, I am aware there are already 8-bit versions of the Sonic 1 & 2 games, but I just felt that the 16-bit versions needed some 8-bit love as well, even if it is from Nintendo).
