I was in Somsara from 2005-2008.. this track is one of my favorite bits of my own bass playing. If anyone wants a copy of the "Chaos & Soul" disc this is from, I've got plenty laying around and they're going cheap. Message me here or on Facebook/derekofbass

Recording notes: just one track on my year 2000 Dingwall Prima through the Avalon 737 along with the cd audio here... strings are dead... tone is a little thin because I've got the pickup balance rolled all the way to the bridge, but it's worth the tradeoff because the harmonics absolutely *scream* on that setting. I double-tracked this in stereo on the disc, so with the play-along it's actually triple-tracked. Not as tight as it could be, but I hadn't tried to play this since the band broke up in 2008, and I pulled it together on a whim in about an hour including Premiere rendering time.
