History was made on 25th July 2015 at the State house, Nairobi when the multi-award winning group, Sauti Sol along with Obama’s half-sister Auma Obama, his National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Kenyan President H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Hon.Margaret Kenyatta were joined by a rare dancer on stage; President of the United States of America, H.E Barack Obama! President Obama celebrated his historic trip to Kenya with an official state dinner and a little bit of dancing. He was entertained by none other than president Uhuru’s favorite band, Sauti Sol.

Sauti Sol, hugely popular in East Africa, performed at the State dinner held in honor of Barack Obama by H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and the first lady, Margaret Kenyatta and was among a few VIP guests, including American hip-hop artist Akon and Obama’s step-grandmother, Mama Sarah.
