PUBLISHED:  Nov 23, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
Jeff Schmidt blow my ears and mind once I heard him, literally. His music, language, creativity develop a lot of ideas in many players, not only bass players, but any kind of musicians. He's one of my influences in this "generation" of 21st century bass players and keep the ideas flowing around the music further than technique, but without dismissed it last one. When I heard Mudita,it catch me immediately. This is my version of the song for a 4 string bass in standard tunning (E, A, D, G). Thanx Jeff, hope if U see this, you like it,I learn a lot and still...thanx for watching.

I want to dedicate this video to my masters and fellow (and great of course) mexican bass players : Carlos Orozco, Paco Morales, Jesús Meza "la Bruja",Iván Barrera, Alonso Arreola, Pepe Hernández, Vitillo, Aarón Cruz, Muela Elevador, Jane Bass, Jorge Guerrero, Ely Ocelote, Antar Ahumada, Tomás González, Alejandro González, Moyete ,Gil Medina, Pook Lowend, the bass players in León, Guanajuato; Acapulco;Guerrero, Pachuca; Hidalgo, and of course Mexico, D. F. Sorry if antone is out for the moment,i can´t remember all!!!but I'll add you from time to time. Light and blessings...
