DESCRIPTION:
I was asked to do a video on using the Line Out port to record with the Marshall Code, so here it is.

In the video I do say I was a little disappointed with the results but by the time I edited the video I actually saw the potential in the tone.
I'd say using the Line Out sounds a little thin and harsh, but to give an honest and fair look at how it sounds I did no Post-EQ except a bit of volume boost to make it sit in the mix better.
I also used the same amp settings from previous Code videos to give a fair comparison between using a Microphone, USB and Line Out.
Tweaking with the amp settings and using Post EQ would probably yield good results and I would consider using the line out in the future as I haven't been able to get rid of the higher latency when using USB.

Also when I show the Microphone and USB comparison, it sounded a little quiet compared to the Line Out clip, that'll be because I boosted the volume with the Line Out and used the original video clip for the Mic and USB.

But, what do you guys think? Is using the Line Out a great method to record silently?
