DESCRIPTION:
Suspect Press was founded on two principles: (1) To create a free, Denver-based publication that blended fiction, non-fiction, music and art coverage, reviews, and comics. And (2) to pay its contributors. Its editors have been agitating in the Mile High City for years now: Dan Landes (Unsubstantiated Press, Joonie), Brian Polk (The Yellow Rake), and Ken Arkind (Minor Disturbance).
All press is suspect, especially Suspect Press.
Suspect Press publishes columns, short fiction, poems, music features, reviews, comics, photos, rants, etc. from some of Colorado's impressive and diverse community of writers.
You can find Suspect Press distributed around town, on what seems to be a seasonal basis (1st issue was Winter 2014, 2nd issue was Spring 2014), almost any place music/art/culture intersect and thrive. I like to pick mine up at Mutiny Information Cafe.
